Prairie Nights and Peacock Feathers Crosses Ivan FrankoThis CD draws its material from the deepest layers of Ukrainian musical tradition and filters it through the sensibility of Kochan's musical collaborators: bandurist Julian Kytasty, jazz improviser and singer songwriter Richard Moody, British Isles traditional player Martin College and Yugoslavian contrabassist Nenad Zdjelar. Soundscapes range from spare 2 part harmonies to lush instrumental arrangements. This explores the creative possibilities found
