Lozi Mortar Stool 06 Whilst drifting over the dunesOur Lozi mortar stools are special vintage pieces curated from rural communities from Zambia. Each mortar has been used for pounding grain and maize in the communities kitchen, before being gently restored and repaired. Each stool is hand carved by a community member from indigenous wood, with its own unique design and shape making them a one of a kind piece for your home. As the mortars have been exposed to elements and been used daily, the wood
