Mindless Sinner - Turn On The Power [Reissue] Portishead On the last couple ofMindless Sinner began as Purple Haze in 1981. They changed their name to Genocide after singer Christer Gransson joined the band later that year, and by August of 1983, the had reached their final moniker. They recorded a four track demo entitled Master Of Evil, which attracted Swedish label Fingerprint Records, who released the NWOBHM inspired material as a mini album in January of 1984. By then, the line up of the band was Anders Karlsson (bass),
