1920s Egyptian Revival Gold Mummy gents from even earlier)Cool Egyptian Revival sarcophagus and mummy charm. Unusually, it's built in gold; and even more unusually it's built in 12ct gold. The outer casing is hinged at the bottom, opening to release the mummy inside. They're both finished in colourful enamel with hieroglyphics, cartouches, a winged scarab decorating the sarcophagus, and diagonal bands representing the embalming cloth on the mummy. Stamped 12ct inside the coffin lid. The discovery of
