LISTENING TO THE SILENCE OF WINTER SHEEP LAKES the colors of the sunriseAfter receiving 2 3 inches of snow overnight, I set out to photograph this recent snowfall along Eakin Creek West on this 2nd day of the New Year. The temperature was in the mid 20's with little to no wind and overcast conditions. Over the years, I have come to notice that the creek usually doesn't completely freeze over and that the creeks edges can form some pretty cool ice patterns, which makes for some good photography.
