Vintage Memento Mori Skull Ring necklaces but the most widely acceptedRESERVED An extraordinary vintage statement ring dating from the turn of the 21st century, circa 2000. There's rather a lot to unpack: snake heads for the shoulders, four enamelled skulls peer out of the gallery sides, a huge, pale, cushion shaped amethyst forms the centrepiece, and four cabochon gemstones fill the spaces between the skulls (three rubies and one blue sapphire strangely). Exactly who made it and why is anyone's guess I imagine it was
