I was up by 4:00 am to catch the sunrise at Wildflower Lake and at the trailhead by 4:30 am

ANOTHER MORNING WITH THE LOONS WALKING I was up by 4:00A beautiful and colorful common loon gracefully swims across Wildflower Lake as it swims close by looking and investigating my way. I was fascinated watching a few common loons swim and then dive to try and catch fish to reenergize throughout the morning. For about 3 weeks, I enjoyed viewing and photographing them as they rested at Wildflower Lake before flying north on their migration. One morning while photographing the sunrise at the lake, I was
