Earth Tone Mug and how it's inspired myWheel thrown red stoneware clay mug decorated with refined clay slips called terra sigillata. I created these decorating slips from clay samples that I have foraged in different states over the years, or that were given to me by other potters. I also used slips that I made from commercially processed clays such as Redart. The green diamonds and interior are glazed. Holds 10 oz. Approximately 3. 5" tall, 3" diameter Microwave safe.
