Description

I set up the tripod

this animal was running side by side with my SUV going about 25 mph

I didn't have far to hike to reach the west end of the park where there was an abundance of wildflowers along with a mist in front of the box elder trees that line the banks of Eakin Creek West

I left the house before 5:am and after photographing the wildflowers for a couple hours

ENJOYING THE MORNING SNOWFALL Size:40x60 METAL PRINT I set up the tripodThe campanula trail or boardwalk at Starved Rock State Park, is named after the harebell flower, its scientific name, campanula, which guides you through the mostly deciduous forest of red and white oak, maple and hickory with an understory of pawpaw, hornbeam and dogwood. Conifers of white pine are also abundant. The boardwalk guides you through french canyon and ends at the wildcat canyon overlook where an impressive falls can be seen. (687 3617)
