Description

once a thriving Roman city devastated after the eruption of Mount Vesuvius (which we see looming in the background) in 79 AD

with orange as the dominant colour and flashes of green and blue as the light hits it from different angles

using simple geometric angles and lines to stunning effect

The symbolism is Love Conquers All

1960s Harlequin Bracelet buttons once a thriving Roman cityBold and joyful harlequin bracelet set with six different varieties of coloured quartz: amethyst, green jasper, milky blue chalcedony, red carnelian, pink rose quartz, and golden tiger's eye. With a distinctly modernist flavour, it dates from the 1960s; the stones are carved as truncated cabochons sort of sugarloaf esque and they're mounted in yellow gold. The 9CT stamp on the clasp indicates it was made in the UK, but the vibe is pretty Italian imo.
