Description

After photographing the wildflowers

I was pleased at how this scene unfolded in front of me and made up for not having a better sunset

false sunflowers and yellow coneflowers that I had just photographed

A recent snowfall covers this beautiful winter riparian landscape scene with box elder trees catching the snow on their branches that line the banks of Eakin Creek West at Wildflower Park

WALKING THROUGH THE PARK ON A FOGGY MORNING OAK TREE After photographing the wildflowersThe forecast this morning was for foggy conditions until late morning so, photographing any kind of sunrise was out of the question. I left the house before 5: am and after photographing the wildflowers for a couple hours, the fog was still about and peaked my interest to find subjects that would help compliment the atmosphere that the fog brought to the landscape. With this type of atmosphere, I like photographing the landscape in black and white.
