I thought that this was a beautiful scene ahead of me and with the sunlight now touching the bridge that crosses over Eakin Creek West

I reached the trailhead soon after leaving the house with camera gear in hand and it wasn't long before I started seeing the wildflowers that were in pristine condition and in the distance

With the abundance of wildflowers that include common milkweed and swamp milkweed that are host plants to the monarch caterpillars, monarch butterflies are a common site from may through September at Wildflower Park.
