Mist comes off of Wildflower Lake as the day begins to warm

I decided to head out around late morning and hope the forecast would be correct

A spring sunrise begins the morning as I cross the bridge over the south fork Kishwaukee River with a peachleaf willow tree standing tall and elderberry bushes complimenting the pedestrian bridge at Wildflower Park

A TIME FOR REFLECTING Size:13x19 FINE ART PAPER Mist comes off of WildflowerAfter receiving 2 3 inches of snow during the morning hours, I set out to photograph this recent snowfall along Eakin Creek West on this Sunday afternoon. The temperature was in the mid 20's with a mild wind of 5 8 mph. It was mostly overcast with some sun breaks. The soft lighting during this time made for some nice images of the box elder trees and their reflections onto Eakin Creek West. (685 3444)
