Victorian Masonic Pendant mid century it's beautifully made - datingA remarkable antique masonic pendant dating from the latter half of the 19th century, circa 1870. A gold disc has been expertly pierced to create 'openworked' motifs, which have then in turn been intricately engraved: a square and compass, various stonemason's tools, an axe, a keystone, and a pentagram are the symbols I recognise their specific significance relating to freemasonry is beyond me.
