Forest Jungle - Vintage Meisen Kimono Silk Piece, 13.5" x 41" from Japan #ZP-46 Czech Glass and lightweightLush leaves in off white, green, red, grays, golden olive and peach, on a deep green background. An artisan created, vintage treasure, it is a true ikat, so both sides are just the same. It has Meisen's desirable, traditional blur. One selvedge is purple, the other is turquoise and off white. Thin and light, it's a bit sleek and a bit crisp, with no shine. This silk is from a 1930's 50's kimono, and is in quite good condition. Sold per 13. 5" x 41"
