WW1 British Red Cross Society First Aid Proficiency Medal 1916 Clasp maple leaf insignia Die struck brassAn original and very scarce breast badge medal of the British Red Cross Society. With clasps for First Aid proficiency and the mid war year 1916. 39 mm St. George Cross. Bronze and enamel construction. Mounted to original ribbon, in poor condition, torn and frayed, and clasps of similar construction to the medal itself. Medal is engraved to "Arthur C. Angill", and faintly numbered 9011. Damage free enamels. minor surface marks and edge contact marks.
