1950's Rare Patterned Midwinter Stylecraft Semi-Porcelain Dip / Relish Bowl Glassware 8 cm Diameter of baseAfter working at the Doulton factory for 14 years, Willliam Robinson Midwinter established his own company in 1910, purchasing the Albion Pottery in 1914 and the Hadderidge Pottery during the 1920s. In 1932 the firm became incorporated as W. H. Midwinter Ltd. In 1964 the firm acquired A. J. Wilkinson as well as Newport Pottery, but merged with J&G Meakin under British Tableware Ltd. in 1968. This was taken over by the Wedgwood Group in 1970. In 1987
