AMI Saint-Romain Combe Bazin, Cote de Beaune, 2020 Dorset slightly more oxidative style thanLa Combe Bazin is a single vineyard within the Saint Romain appellation. The soils here have very high level of limestone which makes wines with structure, bright acidity and minerality. Bright gold with a tight, rich nose of caramelised fruits, hazelnuts and floral notes. The palate is rich and intense. Really fresh and racy, with a long, mineral finish. Aged in old barrels. No fining or filtering before bottling with only a small amount of SO2 added.
