How times have changed but there are nods to this history with this wine. Back in the day, Ribera wines were deep coloured and tannic. So Tempranillo vineyards were planted with a white grape called Albillo, which was then blended into the reds, to soften them up. Theres around 15% of Albillo in this ros, which not only lightens the colour, but gives a gorgeous citrusy flavour
