The leaves look like ripples (photo 1 when the plant is slightly thirsty and looks more straight when plant is well hydrated. When grown outdoor in full sun E. strictiflora forms dark speckles on it's leafs. Leaf edge is red and will turn black after growing in full sun for some time. Prefers full partial sun. This plant does not like the cold, especially
