October Cascade Orange A bicyclist shaves some timeThe Great Smoky Mountains National Park near my home in east Tennessee is a tremendous source of inspiration to me, and maybe my favorite time of year to explore is it during the fall. I say "maybe" because this gorgeous location also rocks during the winter, spring, and summer (!) Nonetheless, I think it's easy to see why autumn is a strong contender with its gorgeous colors and light.
