Six generations of the Miailhe family have managed this chateau since 1869. This third wine Saint Jacques de Siran is composed of fruit from sites which sit just outside of the Margaux appellation so therefore is classified as Bordeaux Suprieur. The first (Chateau Siran) and second wines ('S' de Siran) are labelled Margaux AOC. Siran is composed of 40Ha of vineyards in total.
