There is what looks like a water stain on the top near the eagle insignia

For sorting out pen nibs and paperclips and such

It was written before America entered the war, so it would be an interesting read to gain a perspective on what Germans were thinking with regards to the USA. There was a small paper band inside which was probably being used as a book mark. I left it inside.
