Each strip has been formulated with Brain Heart Infusion Media that allows for the maximum cultivation of fastidious bacteria, such as streptococci, pneumococci and meningococci, found in water samples. If an area is suspect for bacteria, either dip a test strip into the sample, or, for surfaces, add deionized distilled water
