A series of persona poems both in Jesus's voice and in the voices of those he impacted, "The Gospel According to B." delivers a queer account of Jesus's early life and times, from his childhood to young adulthood, periods curiously omitted in canonical Gospels. Combining midrashic, gnostic, and queer thought, the poems ditch heteronormative
