It measures 23" long in total and a little less than 1/2" wide

I have found beat up original examples at a number of German flea markets so they were distributed farther than just Italy

The red paint is obviously very old and not the original color of the box it looks like there might be a layer of green and a layer of white underneath

Items like this did make it to the front lines

Propaganda Rifle Grenade Box women's It measures 23" long inBox for a rather rare rifle grenade round. This is the transport box for the Propaganda rifle grenade. It is a little worn and dirty but in overall nice condition. There is a remnant of the paper label inside and just enough writing left to make out Gewehr propagandagranate. The box would have held 40 rounds. This is the first example I have ever seen of this box and it is slightly different from standard rifle grenade boxes.
