Localised hail in September diluted grapes for early pickers, but those who held on until October were rewarded with excellent phenolic ripeness. Expert red fruits and forest floor notes, and a palate rich in black and red cherries, blood orange, and dried roses. Matured in neutral oak barrels. Pair with lamb shanks in a rich jus.
