Pine Tree Forest No.1 – Reclaimed Wood and Steel Forest Wall Sculpture charred wood decor I chose wood for thePine Tree Forest: metal and wood pine tree sculpture This art piece is a combination of old reclaimed wood and a Pine tree sculpture that is cut from 1 16" thick steel painted in Matte black finish. The frame is made of Poplar hardwood stained in a Black Ebonized finish. The barnwood strips measure wide and vary in depth to give the art piece some depth. I then applied two coats of low VOC water based sealer in a satin finish to preserve the art
